Trip to NYU Philosophy Department
On April 26, 2024, Dr. Daniel Murphy (Philosophy) and Dr. Devin Heyward (Sociology and Urban Studies) accompanied three SPU students, Sebastian Toro, Angel Palma, and Jorge Santos to the NYU Philosophy Department to see Dr. Lionel McPherson鈥檚 (Tufts University) presentation entitled 鈥淎merican Slavery (Caste), not Race.鈥
Dr. McPherson鈥檚 talk was part of the NYIP Project on the Philosophy of Race and Racism.
