猫咪社区 Peter\u2019s University is committed to compliance with laws that protect students with disabilities, including the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. However, if you feel that you have been denied a reasonable accommodation, these are the procedures you must follow.<\/p>\n

Appealing 猫咪社区 Peter\u2019s University Accommodation Eligibility Determinations:<\/h3>\n

If you feel that 猫咪社区 Peter\u2019s did not provide you with reasonable accommodations:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. First, you must contact the Dean of Students’ office in writing and request that your application and documentation be reviewed again. At this time, you may also provide additional supporting documentation. An administrator will reach out to you within 3 business days to set up a meeting to discuss the matter and attempt to resolve the issue. A student may select one advisor or support person of their choice to be present during the meeting. This person may include a parent, guardian, friend, attorney, or other person of their choice. The individual must notify the administrator two (2) University business or class days in advance of the meeting if accompanied by an advisor or support person is an attorney. The advisor\u2019s actions are limited to advising the student. The purpose of the advisor or support person is to assist the student in preparation for the meeting, to accompany them to the meeting, and to provide support. An advisor or support person is prohibited from presenting information, asking questions, or making any statements during the meeting. 猫咪社区 Peter\u2019s is committed to working with you and providing you with a safe and comfortable environment to discuss these matters. You will be told within 10 business days whether any additional or alternative accommodations will be made.<\/li>\n
  2. If your meeting with an accommodations administrator does not resolve the academic accommodation, a formal Academic Accommodation Appeal may be filed with the Vice President for Academic Affairs. The Vice President of Academic Affairs may be reached at provost@saintpeters.edu<\/a>. The written appeal should include your contact information, student ID number, a detailed description of what happened, and a requested solution. Your appeal must be filed within 10 days of your meeting with CASE. The Vice President of Academic Affairs will consider your appeal and may schedule a meeting to discuss the matter with you further. You can expect a decision within 10 days of receipt of your academic accommodation appeal. This decision will be final.<\/li>\n
  3. I3. If your meeting with an administrator does not resolve a housing accommodation issue, you may file a formal Housing Accommodation Appeal with the Vice President for Student Life & Development at studentlife@saintpeters.edu<\/a>. The appeal must include your contact information, student ID number, a detailed description of what happened, and a requested solution. Your appeal must be filed within 10 days of CASE\u2019s decision. The Vice President for Student Life & Development will consider your appeal and may schedule a meeting to discuss the matter with you further. You can expect a decision within 10 days of receipt of your housing accommodation appeal. This decision will be final.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Appealing Actions or Inactions by Faculty Related to Accommodations:<\/h3>\n

    If you provided your professor with the Letters of Accommodation, and you have not been provided your approved accommodations:<\/p>\n

    1. 1. First, you must contact the Dean of Students office in writing and request that your application and documentation be reviewed again. Our office is committed to working with you and faculty to ensure that all approved accommodations are being followed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
